DK , there was a kid in our neighborhood that would burn ants with a magnifying glass. Ants discharge folic acid from their abdomens, which allows them to navigate previous trails. Apparently the folic acid when heated would give this kid a headache after a little while , but there he was the next day doing it again. You know , kind of like Kiwi's posts.
