You probably should have read my follow-up post before making some assumptions, but I stand by my Trump statements. What I attributed to President Trump was FACT, not my opinion as a "hater". Everything I said he did...he did. That doesn't make me a hater. But whether HCQ works or not, it's irresponsible for the President of the United States (or anyone for that matter) to say "go ahead and take HydroxyChloroquine.....what do you have to lose?". It's been proven to have heart risk for those with some pre-existing heart conditions. Some patients DO in fact have something to lose by taking it blindly with no physician overseeing things or running some heart tests first. And with all that said, I agree now that HCQ may possibly help early stage Covid-19 patients, or perhaps as a prophylactic.
