North- c’mon, I never said that the FDA decision “preordains” the outcome or that it will “control” their judgement.

What I said is that the “super efficient” FDA approval of generic Vascepa is a BIG dot. IMO, when compared to all the crap Amarin had to endure to get approval, this speaks loud and clear about how the FDA feels about the recent judgement and about the future of the generic equivalent. There’s little doubt in my mind this will impact the forthcoming decision. Big brother protection ya know?
