you have to look at the terms of the share sale agreement. Then you'll understand why your hypothetical didn't make sense.



Are you saying that the sales agreement would prevent Anavex from selling at $5 & 6? Further comment would be appreciated, thanks.

Considering the company has been selling shares consistently since the LPC ATM agreement, which means in the $2-$3 range for the last few years, it would only make any sense to sell half as many shares at $6. This is simple common sense and smart business, regardless if there was 24M in the bank, or not. If the idea is to maintain 24 months of operating cash in the bank, and then an opportunity presents itself where we can dilute at a higher share price (100% higher) you do it! This is common sense and something just about everyone here would do (I’d like to think?)
