With my toe-dabbing just starting, I started with a 2:1 split of stock:cash. I felt that was a pretty safe bet in the current market. So my percentage of cash is probably higher than programs that have been through a few swings.

I'm going to have to research the v-wave indicator as I haven't done more than glance at it.
