Best o' luck to JL; I can relate. Two Thursdays ago I posted to the doc who did the fusion on my neck and snivelled about sheltered in place AND not turning my head or picking up stuff. He said he did a lot of that particular operation and at 7 weeks his patients were all still on a walker/heavy pain meds and complaining about why they even had the operation in the first place... But I could throw the cervical collar away and take my life back without restrictions, including riding my motorcycle that night if I felt like it...

Six hours later while prepping dinner, someone hit me in the chest with a #25 lb bag of wet sand. I grilled and plated the steak for the wife and called a Lyft. That night (Fri), Kaiser stented the artery that was 100% occluded when I walked into the ER within the hour and got the other two that were 70% each stented on Monday and I came home Tuesday...

I've been on EPA 500/Vascepa since 2015 w/ no statin. But there was stuff I shoulda... The ACC news was cold comfort. I spent 3 days in the ICU with at least a coupla three four Covid 19 cases down the hall and got tested myself. I kicked the whole Covid 19 riff around w/ the docs and staff and learned some stuff. I'm learning about cardiac matters and my case in particular this week.
