I don't think it's technically wrong to call pure EPA fish oil. But that usage is offensive to high-end EPA producers, Vascepa users and Amarin shareholders and employees because there is so much work going into pure EPA and Vascepa. It's more or less Amarin's job to differentiate these. It's not an easy job, and Amarin is obviously not doing a good job on this.
