I have been calling the "Big Dogs" — the broker dealers listed at OTCM.

I spoke to brokers at PUMA, NITE, MAXM, and RAJA — to name a few.

It was kinda fun. None of them had any idea how to get faster fills on Grey Sheet orders but they did tell me something very significant.

Several of them told me that when an order came into to buy a Grey Sheet stock they were required to "pick up the phone" and call three different places in order to find your best offer.

That certainly sheds some light on the situation. No wonder it takes forever.

It also leads me to think I need to stop canceling or changing my orders to put in new orders. I suspect they handle them in the order they were received. That means they may not even take a look at my order for several days or even weeks. If I cancel it (or change it) then I think it essentially becomes a brand new order.

I have never tried to purchase Grey Sheet stocks before so this is new territory for me. Looks like patience will rule the day — as always.
