I am not familiar with this outlet, but this is based on some very old news. In fact, I had it posted as a sticky for quite awhile but took it down based on the new rumors. From recent rumors, it appears that Apple will use similar production methods as the iPhone 11.

At this point, if a revolutionary production technology such as LiquidMetal were being used in any Apple product, it probably would have been leaked before now. Apple tries to plug information, but it always leaks out. We already know the Apple 12 design, models, capacity, refresh rate, etc. All that's left is the unveiling 4-5 months from now.

But.... there is a very slight chance that somehow Apple has managed to keep this one supplier, this one production method, this new material, from leaking out.
