Came across this article.
I was in Berlin at the time in the midst of my Hotel business apprenticeship. I DO NOT remember tis taking place whatsoever!!
And apparently there were piling up the dead bodies in unused subway tunnels. WTF.
Woodstock took place with 2 count them 2 fatalities unrelated to the flu.
No major news cycle, nothing closed, etc
And TODAY !!!???
