Finread question

In reviewing the program for the upcoming Embedded Finread seminars in SF & NY I noticed the following:

"FINREAD demonstrations: secure transactions conducted with three FINREAD card readers from different manufacturers."

Does it stand to reason that at least one of these readers uses Wave's tech? TIA
