I used to surf. LOL. Ocean City MD. Almost drown once in a hurricane. Sh-- was literally breaking the opposite way out to shore. Got sucked up in a swirl of white water and got vertigo. Luckily I was on the swim team and had learned how to hold my breath for over 2 minutes. Finally nature pulled me up just as I was almost done for. I stayed out of the water for about 2 weeks. I don't if board pulled me up from the buoyancy from the strap attached or an angel. All I know is I was about to pass out under water and that would have been it.
