BP has the muscle to do much more than Amarin in a GIA mode. Hopefully JT has figured this out by now. GIA is a Fool's Errand!

Your continuous praise for a BP is full with wrong assumptions …

Meanwhile BPs have some advantage (e.g. lower OPEX, faster peak sales due to more leverage at HCP) they are not better in all aspect. eg.:

If BP ties up the feedstock for the production of AMRN and receives a bulk discount in the process

Amarin could ties up the same feedstock

BP would also be in a position to get approvals in other regions of the world where they have distribution such as India, Other nations in Asia, South and Central America, etc.

Amarin could get approval also … like in the US & Canada and - most likely - in the EU

Again, this is why BP ownership of AMRN is so critical

It is not: sell to a BP below GIA value is a Fool's Errand! BP ownership makes sense if they offer more … Fair to assume (as no BO YTD): all offer- if any - were below GIA value.
