Actually the government does support this project. I believe Governor Ricketts is behind the project. Side note they aren’t relying on the government for financing purposes. They have said this is the case.

The only things Trump could do is make permitting issues happen faster or be less stringent. As you can see with the environmentally friendly project I don’t think this is the case. They have made this a priority.
