How can you say this is destruction?

Because the only way this project comes to fruition is with government support. Your best potential ally was the president. We are in an election year where he has a hell of a lot more to worry amount than a mine in a state that he will certainly carry.

It’s almost entirely derisked (air permit will be the last biggest hurdle). Don’t start talking about small permits that don’t need to be done yet in your rebuttal either)

It’s not at all the final hurdle. The DHHS permit will be the most difficult. The air permit is just meat for the base, but the real risk never was in the permitting process. You’ve heard it multiple times from Mark and Jim, they don’t need the permit for financing. Why do you think the air permit changes anything in regards to financing? Were they misleading you with those statements, or will it be status quo once the permit is issued? (And for the record, I have little doubt they will get this one.)

The minerals are looked at as critical.

The minerals have multi uses on a variety of products that are extremely valuable.

There’s a great argument for the criticality of a domestic source of niobium. It’s far and away the best thing this company has going for it. Unfortunately it’s just not economically feasible. We have reliable sources of Nb in Canada, one of our strongest allies, and Brazil, another ally but certainly not as reliable. The other argument against niobium is the ease of which it is replaced with vanadium.

Scandium is another story. There’s a consensus as to its benefits. They’ve been touted for decades. If they come to fruition, there are multiple sites across the world that have strong claims to be able to produce the mineral far more efficiently than NioCorp. Many of them are in Australia, another strong ally that the US, via Wilbur Ross, Secretary of Commerce, has already been in deep discussions in regards to mining and critical minerals.

The titanium is negligible and not worthy of discussion.

The mine has shown to be profitable.

No it hasn’t. It’s been estimated to be profitable based off of a single scandium market study that has not been corroborated by any one else in the field.
