It's not necessarily so black and white. Altria has many options open to them with the info learned with Lexaria.

They could:
-buy Lexaria's Nicotine Subsidiary outright
-create products with another company but with Lexaria's tech and pay Lexaria royalties
-create products for europe or another locale again paying Lexaria royalties

There's also a million other opportunities that still exist in this relationship that we can only dream about.
