The Gulf Coast Region of the BOEM/BSEE is out of New Orleans, and New Orleans is one of the “Top US Hot Spots”. Governor Bel Edwards was suppose to lift the “Stay-at-home Order” April 30th, but it has been extended until May 15th because they did not meet the criteria for a “Phase-one Re-Opening”.

I am sure the BOEM/BSEE are trying to process their full work loads, but the “Stay-at-home Order” and New Orleans being one of the “Top US Hot Spots” has to decrease the BOEM’s and BSEE’s productivity.

I believe the permits will be processed since the BOEM and BSEE are part of the ‘Essential Critical Workforce’, unfortunately just at a slower pace.

I think the Oil and Gas Industry is part of the ‘Essential Critical Workforce’ just like the Construction Industry is part of the ‘Essential Critical Workforce’.
