So from what I have read here, they're admitting the Tinkerbell isn't really doing anything but acting as a sub-bottom profiler. Rather puzzling after all the previous claims. Seems as though things aren't up to snuff in the Tinkertoy lab. What I find really amusing is the statement "We've scanned hundreds of acres of area already, and have identified over a thousand target areas", said Reynolds" So over a 1,000 target areas and, to date, one on the bottom surface visible conglomerate, one grouper fish in a hole and a deadeye and strap (mistakenly identified as a 'pulley wheel"). Real professionals. Opinion based on experience, if there were over a 1,000 targets , one would have to inevitably say we're in the wreck site area but even without metallic analytical ability, are there no indications of iron cannons, rail guns, anchors, piles of bars of silver and gold, chests (intact) of silver and gold coins, etc., etc. ? Weren't we given to believe this see all, know all amazing technology can determine precise sub-bottom depth, profile and dimensions of target and even angle of degree as how its resting?
Its astounding how such a statement is made by a man I assume has no experience or expertise in sub-bottom profiling and interpretation of targets? Is there any awareness among this bunch of amateurs that the so called 1,000 plus targets are more than likely parabolic point source reflections caused by underlying suspended geological targets such as, for example coagulants of dead shells and corals which are in many cases common on sub-bottom surveys. Of course, the sheeple know nothing about this so they must be going 'giddy' over all of this.
