He admitted he doesn’t even know if the wreck is there. Why would one “expect” to find treasure? Why wouldn’t you “expect” to find proof of a wreck first?

One might hope, but expectations should be based on some material facts. Now they enter the 3rd decade of exploration of a very small area with their partners.
