BP probably has moles in the FDA that could give them the status of the ANDAs, giving them a good idea of how likely it is the generics can even launch.

Amarin could be more transparent about the suppliers and if that really does present an impediment to generic launch. BP could bring pressure to bear to make sure the API doesn’t end up in the hands of generics.

Amarin needs to let the big boys take over. The sooner the better.
