2) COVID-19 is highly contagious.

3) Anyone who dies WITH (not FROM) COVID-19 gets counted as a COVID-19 death.

Let's say that 100% of Americans get COVID-19 in a month but no one dies FROM it, the records will still show it at 200k COVID deaths.

Thus, because it is so contagious, if 10% of Americans had COVID-19 last month, 20k of COVID-19 deaths would have still occurred.
