Thanks everyone

They had trouble on the webcast understanding the question and I’m having trouble understanding if the issue of air entering the devise and causing blood clotting of the filter is a device specific issue more prevalent for virus patients or does this directly relate to the general blood clotting issue we have all read about as a result of the virus.

I’m aware of the blood clotting issues with the virus and have read this can occur almost anywhere in the body such as the ankles which is really scary. When they responded to the question they referred to the clotting of the filter and Cytosorb clots in the system. I thought they were referring to our filter clogging up due to blood flow as opposed to the blood clot issue but I may have and hope I have that completely wrong.

Is this something the company should reach out and address to the person that asked the question? They made it sound like a huge issue with our filter .

In case it helps, the original question was something like “Our nephrology colleagues have stated that these filters clot off easily and have told our ICU colleagues that these are not a good choice. Do you have any experience seeing these clotting off”

I had thought the filter was more of a set it and forget it but this makes it sound like it must constantly be monitored. Is that correct or would some type of alarm go off if there is clotting?

Thanks in advance.
