If they were really serious about going it alone they would be setting up offices, hiring reps and managers, etc....he can say they may gia but it would be insane..no experience, EU is much more complicated than US,they do not have the money, they can say it for negotiation purposes but no BP is going to believe it...they did not gia in Canada which would have been a lot easier..
