I believe there was discussion about this in previous posts.

When listening again to Jim's investor presentation, he mentioned that the clients under NDA that they were engaged with, were very interested in licensing Lightwaves technology. Jim seemed to perk up about believing that technology transfer was the better way to go versus licensing.

Can some explain the difference between the two and why would potential clients prefer licensing? Is there a financial benefit for a client to engage through licensing vs the technology transfer?
