It's always puzzled me that Anavex is on good terms with both Eisai and Takeda.

Why shouldn't they be? Until the fat partnership is signed with good profit share and say $1 billion upfront cash payment, there is no reason not to court EVERYBODY. What is shows is that many partners are interested, and those who will be chosen will have to pay up big.
