There is no "conspiracy against vitamin D3 because it's so cheap." Handwash is cheap, as are masks; both can in fact be homemade, and they are being studied, recommended, and commercial produced en mass. It's a big business. People are even urged to make their own. As they are also urged to maintain a balanced diet.

The reason Vitamin D3 is not being mass promoted is because it doesn't prevent you from getting viral infections. Such claims are nonsense, typical of "cures they don't want you to know about." Your sample of one is dubious. I'll give you a sample of one. I take a daily multi-vitamin with D3 and I get common colds. I'll give you another one. I know someone who does the same and got COVID-19.

Remedies that are false can mislead and endanger, so you have to be very careful when you recommend one.
