I did get the Shingrix vaccine after reading it was 97% effective at preventing shingles.

Shingrix is on the high end for vaccine efficacy. But it (both shots) made me the sickest I’ve ever been from a vaccine (immune system reaction: 24 hours mild fever, mild nausea). And I’m confident I wasn’t alone in this.

Q: I wonder if there is a correlation between efficacy and side effects? (There certainly is for other things - like immunotherapy for melanoma)
