Sorry Umibe but I just don't buy that. Dr. Kevin Duffy is a scientist who helped bring Keytruda through trials and eventually to the public market. His knowledge in area of immuno oncology ranks at the top. Perlmutter knew this and I believe that Perlmutter's conversations with LP at ASCO 2019 initiated the temporary move by Duffy so to verify the results and value of the DCVax platform. Now the fact that Duffy is back as Director in Research working for Perlmutter tells me that this was all part of the plan. I believe that Merck is now planning on how to incorporate DCVax into the Merck oncology arsenal. Partnership to me does sound more of the plan. Merck probably wants more say and ownership in the DCVax application. Anyway, interesting will be the point come Saturday.
