Completely right, OTC stocks and especially tiny biotechs are continually shorted as soon as any buying interest shows up. The algo's tied to these tiny stocks do not care if one of these explodes at some point because it is a numbers game and generally small biotechs trade off news or spikes in buying. This is a common practice. Most traders in these area are making money on swing trades like the one witnessed over the last couple of days. It is obvious when large trades cause little upward movement then tiny algo trades then downswing the price once shorts are in place.
