I have it straight from one of the foremost leading authorities in photonics quote “

Having said that, I very much doubt the performance of a silicon based emitter once it gets built will even come close to match that of InP or GaAs today in commercial activity. “unquote
As you know EO polymers outperform InP, GaAs and silicon today.
