I still don’t get the patent. They are basically doing FaceTime in a helmet. If apple wanted to own this market, give them 2 days and this would be over. They already have the hardware.

What gets me is the network they are saying they are using. Relying on real-time WiFi or cellular networks to operate without high latency and high bit error rates inside a stadium while it is packed full for a game is quite a bit of a stretch. Good luck with that. Ever try to use your phone in a packed stadium with 80,000 of your closest friends ? Ditto the WiFi...

The video you see televised on ESPN is in the upper 5 and 6 GHz, far away from WiFi and cell networks.

I call this a total and complete scam. Complete
