I just said goodbye to my best friend, Alex the beagle. He was 14 years old, and a loving, gentle soul. Together, we walked countless miles across many trails over the years. Tonight, my wife and I had to carry him to Rainbow Bridge, where at the gate we held him and kissed him goodbye. My heart is broken, my spirit saddened, and I am truly at a loss. I often post links to music videos to express thought and emotion. This is how I think of Alex.
