I firmly believe my family already had it but that being said...I’m wearing civilian clothes to work. Changing into hospital OR scrubs there. Work. The one positive I will say is the hospitals are providing this service for EVERY employee.....hats off them to them. I’ll leave it at that. Change back into civilian cloths and take a bath in hand sanitizer while changing. Mask at work except when eating. One per day.
Father in law getting chemo for lung CA. First round. He is my buddy. Had to tell them not to come over tonight for dinner for the mere fact that I am living in this house. Honestly I think he had it too in feb. but taking no chances. This week in vegas is make or break most likely. We have a built in capacity safeguard cause the 800,000 visitors per week are not here. Extra bed captivity. First time no hall beds in 15 years!!!!!!no ER boarding right now or very little!!!!! But when we emerge from this....vegas gonna need your help like no other city. We resiliant but taking a pretty big hit right now economically. As are many, but vegas a little more so.
On a positive note....my ER nurse friend with three little girls is possibly recovering. I’ll see him tomorrow. Thanks all.
Experiencing emotional swings. Easy to frigging start crying and easy to get mad at things that come in that clearly are ridiculous

Still, at the end of the day....I feel mostly encouraged by humanities response...mostly encouraged by my fellow Americans response and mostly optimistic we will come through. A moderate amount of Alcohol helps since I won’t hug my kid....but I make sure to ask him how things are going and the little fucker is having a great time!!!!!he is almost 12 and his generation seems amazingly RESILIANT! They should be gen R, not Z!!!!!
All the best
