Good luck in NYC. I'm not coming to visit anytime soon, but wish you well through this. As for a visit, what would be the point in my case?

When the dollar goes up sell gold. When the dollar goes down buy gold. ;^)

People will rush into the dollar for one last BIG mistake in the next couple months.(9 of the 10 people you know will sell assets for dollars instead of trading them for gold) They will BUY the dollar.. ;^)

After they see prices going higher the purchasing power of their dollars will go down and they will want trade their dollars for gold/silver.(That's when I'll be selling it to them at much higher prices to buy stocks that survive this VERY, VERY LOW)
