Although I am biased as heck, I can't stress enough the importance of the human interaction that I've witnessed at ADCOM (from 20 feet away). FDA said to Amarin: "we got you", without actually saying it.

That's ok, I'll be labeled by many as a conspiracy theorist / wishful thinker. They can read my posts or tweets from the ADCOM, I said the same thing as I observed it.

Technically, legally and regulatory speaking, I am wrong, for now. But rules and regulations change all the time.

I look at it from a big picture first. Vascepa has proven to save tens of thousands of lives and hundreds of thousands of CV events. Without Amarin / BP selling it, generics won't be able to advertise and won't get it to the masses. Result: losses of lives and sicker Americans. I'm confident that FDA can figure something out to solve this. Heck, there could be off the record discussions where Amarin are asked to lower the price or sell to BP, who could get it to the mass population quicker than Amarin can, in ex change for FDA to keep generics out.

Things won't be black and white here.
