My doctor's office called to confirm a routine annual physical appointment for next week. My reaction was to re-schedule for a later date. Caller was persistent, offering an appt. today, next Monday, etc..ending with an offer for the doctor calling me and completing the visit by telephone. Catch there was I had to have a cell phone to receive his call as he didn't know when it might be. I played along and said I did not have a cell phone. Call ended with basically a standoff and me insisting on making a July appointment.
