Good post.
As bad as this is, I look at it as a dry run for something more serious. It is admittedly very contagious, but the fatality rate is fairly low. That fact may have lead to some initial complacency.
We got lucky containing SARS, MERS and Ebola before they became pandemics, but we need to be better prepared.
He makes some really good points about that.
