Why would/should he have stopped it? Follow along a little more closely. The shares got sold on tues during the regular session. The ruling came out AFTER the mkt closed. He got the 13.50 price because AGAIN, the ruling came out AFTER the mkt closed. That's when the stock tanked to 4.
