Something for everyone to ponder: Yesterday Goldman Sachs downgraded
AMRN stock from a buy to neutral with a $4.00 price target. At $4.00
the market cap of AMRN would be around $1.6 billion. Seems very strange
that an analyst would set such a bizarre price target. Oddly, the $4.00
seemed to be price area where where 117 million shares traded yesterday.
Coincidence? Or guidance to its institutional investors to load up.

Today we traded over 97 million shares, so in 2 days, nearly 52% of
all the stock outstanding on a fully diluted basis changed hands.
I suspect this was a preset, manipulated "takedown." To what end???

My speculation is that if GS gets enough AMRN stock in "friendly"
hands, it may be impossible for AMRN to vote against an "unfriendly"
offer. Should any BO offer for AMRN come about, I bet GS will be
involved. Does anyone have a different theory? Is this "stock
manipulation?"
