Even if the daily new cases fully "flattened off" as you're indicating, there are still 20,000 new people testing positive every day. Your "flattening off" is simply indicating that infection rates are no longer accelerating, not that the contagion is any way contained. A linear increase is still an increase. You really must temper your optimism. This crisis will be a test of our national will in the long-term. Here in Virginia, we're now under a "shelter in place" order until June 10th.
