Yes, REALITY: Due diligence helps: Straight from the CDC 100,000k compared to 38-50 MILLION. YES it is ANOTHER 'flu'. 24-62k FLU deaths EVERY year.
It is only a flu none of us have had before, so many many more people will get it at once, creating a burden. BUT, from a grand scheme of things, it is another FLU, and it most likely simply become one more thing we get annualized vaccines for. HOPEFULLY this will change some core human behavior, like folks stop coming to work with fevers when they have the flu, or more companies will recognize how viable working from home really is, benefiting the environment and public health in the long run. But it won't change the social behavior of our core demographic, who will be out and about asap to eat drink and play.

I look forward to getting back to long lines and FUNN. For the overwhelming majority, especially our core demographic, its just another crud bug.
