I'm getting a bit concerned or maybe confused about the deaths compared to the recoveries. World-wide deaths are averaging 28% (139,550 recovered vs 29,951 deaths) and in the United States it's 58% (3,244 recovered vs 1,937 deaths). Now I realize these numbers are woefully understated as we don't count people sent home to die or people who were never tested and recovered but we go with what we have now. Since this virus has started these figures have been consistently in double digits. They say the death rate is between 1-2% but so far we have not seen that on the figures we have but significantly higher rates. This is very troublesome as at least in the US we have not seen our peak which could be anywhere from a month to two months away. A conservative estimate would be over 1 million infected and higher for more dire results. If the numbers hold we could see close to 280,000 deaths in the US if we lower it to the world numbers. If not then well I hope my numbers are wrong.
