You're right on the long term scale for advances in biotech, medicine and pharma due to extensive patient protection regulations. In PC tech advances gets implemented a lot faster.
Too bad the article did not give any indication of movement to production. We'll just have to wait and see. This would appear in the near term to have more of a negative impact on Seagate than WAVX.
