The economic carnage from the Corona Virus will not magically go away.
One lesson learned will be to in source many materials now made in China.
Strategic metals are important to the US economy but especially to the
National Security of the US. The Pebble Mine's approval is logical and
state, local, and federal government would be absolute fools to stop
or delay it. Going forward, it may be much more important that approval
and the building of the mine and its related infrastructure are speeded
up.
