Milk can be frozen.

Dad worked at a grocery store when I was growing up. He would bring home several gallons a week, at a discount when they were getting close to sell by date. You have to take some out to allow for expansion, it will separate, but just shake the jug to remix. It may have altered the flavor or texture, but we never noticed it. And with 5 kids, it wasn't around long enough for the expiration date to matter much.
