To be fair, time is of the essence here.
Multiple issues:
+ their population is ~50mil ours is over 300 mil.
+ When they had few hundred cases, they were doing 40000 tests per week.
+ In addition to testing, they were doing contact tracing back then to contain the epidemic.

+ Once you let the disease rip through 5 to 10% of the population, doing more tests than korea is not the answer. i.e, testing and contract tracing across 30 million people is not worth the resources or time - they are better spent in fighting the disease.
- Social distancing and quarantine is doing its best to throttle the flow of patients and to prevent a huge surge in the number of ICU patients.
- We need a cure/treatment to discharge patients in a week or less - hopefully hcq+azythromycin is the combination. We will find out soon enough
-We need to fast track vaccine availability. Target vaccine availability for August/September and work backwards in trial design and throw money at the problem to make things happen.
