Yes, they do actually. Instead of using CO2 extraction like their other formulas, the original formula is done with alcohol extraction:

Type of Extraction – While the amount of CBD in a serving is similar, the ways we extract these products are quite different. 60mg is extracted with CO2 extraction. This efficient process allows us to process greater amounts of our hemp more quickly and produce more extract when we do. The result is a full-spectrum CBD oil with a smoother flavor. Our Original Formula, on the other hand, is made in a small batch, labor-intensive process through alcohol extraction. This produces a darker extract with a very earthy flavor and even with the flavors of the carrier oils (mint chocolate and extra virgin olive oil), you will still notice the taste of hemp come through. It’s not for everyone. If you’re sensitive to tastes and haven’t tried any of our products yet, a CO2-extracted oil may be the best place to start.

Why do we use different types of extraction?
Alcohol extraction takes more time, but it’s a labor of love that provides a complex phytochemical profile. While many people look for CO2-extracted products, Charlotte’s Web was founded on our Original Formula and we are committed to maintaining the process. It’s a part of our heart and soul. CO2 extraction certainly has its benefits (efficiency and taste being two big ones), which is why all our other products (think tinctures, CBD gummies, topicals, and even pet products) are made from CO2-extracted hemp.
