Absolutely agree. Instead of fixing the virus situation, i do not understand what the heck they are doing.
if i was potus, i would have started this preparation in january itself.its not too late now.
mass testing with results in less than hour.
we know how much percentage can go to severe and how many needs ventilators.
quarantine the people who got virus and who does not need to go to hospitals at home.
order army/national guard to convert all the stadiums,parks in each state and add as many beds and ventilators as possible. based on the stats we will know at least some figure.take the patients who need them to those locations.rest of the hospitals can take care of other patients with other health issues.
rest of the younger,healthier population can continue the economy.
its not easier than said but what with 1 trillion budgets armies are for.
it does not make sense to me that 18 million health care workers cannot get the required protective environment. in the age of robots,AI and mass production its very surprising they are unable to produce those.
