For 25 years I have bought crappy little companies, and every morning I get up thinking "maybe one of them has found a cure for cancer and I can retire". Hasn't happened, despite some of them having exciting products in electronics, building supplies, etc. Even the ones that are nominally in the bio space have failed to make this leap :)
It is silly to speculate that VDRM (or any other company with products not related to the virus) will suddenly become "the one" that fixes the problem.
If I could afford to buy all of them, I would not need to buy any of them and I sure wouldn't be spending time on the message boards!
