I have noticed during this market swoon that the last 10 min of the day has seen some pretty significant volume pour in...probably not big news to anyone but me. Nonetheless, I was stalking it this afternoon and determined to jump on the right side of the move and still get out by the close.

It actually played out in my favor as did a couple of other trades. Yes, I also moronically over-traded (maybe I meant maniacally) which kept a cap on profit...but profit it was.

The 10 min chart on the left was offering a double bottom of sorts and a pattern I picked up watching Heiken Ashi videos on youtube. And I knew I wanted in early...so I jumped in on the first break over the 20 SMA red line on the 2 min chart and collected 6% on that last move of the day.

The ETF is URTY which is 3X long Russell 2000.

Interesting how it got stopped at the 1 hour/10 period SMA (black dotted line on the 2 min chart).
